Organizational Performance talks about how well a company or organization fulfills its job. This is about achieving the goals that were set on purpose in the conditions that were built up. Therefore if an organization is setting up to sell a certain number of products or provide a service, how well they do that is their organizational performance. 

 The success or failure of an organization is dependent on the enthusiasm and commitment of its employees work. Motivation plays a key role in enhancing employee effectiveness and efficiency of the work environment. Employee motivation is directly connected to employee engagement, company revenue, and Effectiveness. In organizations, it's important to recognize that employees are valuable assets and may require training, and encouraging staff members to perform their roles with effectiveness and efficiency is crucial. While some employees possess a natural passion for their work, providing benefits can also enhance motivation. nevertheless, organizations should prioritize understanding and addressing the employee's needs.  (MUOGBO , 2024)

How To Improve Motivation for High Performance

Effective leaders inspire employees to willingly follow them, rather than feeling obligated to do so. Furthermore, leaders can capitalize on employee's internal drive to excel by nurturing their intrinsic motivation.

While employees genuinely enjoy their work, they naturally strive to perform well. Further, leaders must cultivate this intrinsic motivation to maintain consistently with a high-performance level. . (Agrawal & Singhal, 2021)

Moreover, leaders should oversee employee performance in ways that enhance engagement and foster a positive work environment. Implementing strategies aimed at boosting engagement and supporting positive experiences for employees can also enhance performance, as they positively impact motivation.  (Tenney, 2024)

These performance management tactics should prioritize not only outcomes and productivity but also prioritize employee well-being. This approach ensures sustainable high performance without compromising employee well-being or dampening motivation and morale.
